Hi, I’m Rael – founder of RT Total Fitness.

Health, fitness, and wellbeing have always been more than just interests for me; they’ve been my way of life. But the real reason I became a personal trainer wasn’t just about my own training, it was about helping everyday people discover what’s possible when they commit to themselves.

I started RT Total Fitness because I saw too many people stuck in a cycle of stress, low energy, and lack of confidence, believing they didn’t have the time, knowledge, or ability to change. I know what it feels like to want more out of life, more strength, more energy, more balance and I’ve made it my mission to guide others toward that.

My home-based gym was built to feel welcoming, professional, and focused. No crowded spaces. No intimidating atmosphere. Just you, me, and the work that will move you forward. Whether it’s building strength, improving fitness, or reclaiming your confidence, I’m here to help you unlock your potential and create results that last.

He's also been very helpful in nutritional needs. I have crohns disease so nutrition is a very fine balancing act! But Ive taken on board some of his advice and its helped massively in keeping energy up. I would definitely recommend training with Rael. Go with an open mind and follow his lead.

I started with Rael before summer and I cannot recommend him enough.

I suffer from endometriosis, it has been a challenge getting back into things after it invaded all my pelvic organs and needed extensive surgery. Rael listens, observes and works at your pace. He constantly checks in before, during and after the session to see how you're feeling.

I can say out of all the sessions I've done with Rael I've not had pain triggered once, which is incredible as on my own I can no longer run or go to the gym as I was triggering pain so often.

I don't consider myself a gymy or active go getter person but somehow Rael is bringing it out of me. In our last session I was determined to do another half circuit, what's got into me? I'm also looking forward to my next challenge... Very out of character for me!

I signed up to Rael as my personal trainer in spring 2025 to try get my training rhythm back on track after a period of injury. This was also in tandem to maintaining my cardio work as a dedicated mountain biker.

In terms of personal goals, I was looking to get to my optimum weight and fitness for a summer holiday to Asia.

Rael’s professionalism shinned through from the offset in terms of understanding prior injuries whilst setting stretched goals to achieve great results over the set timeline. We quickly went to work and had weekly sessions where Rael finds the right balance of support and healthy challenge to push you through the workouts.

Warmups, PT sessions and stretches are all incredibly enjoyable and I started noticing the results after the first 2 sessions.

I have to say I am now in the greatest shape in years and am really motivated to push new boundaries with the excellent coaching from Rael. I have signed up for a long term commitment to Rael as my personal trainer and deservedly so as he is simply the best. I would highly recommend Rael’s work.

I have been attending the Thursday 'Fitness to thrive ' sessions since the end of April. I was a bit nervous to start as I am in my 60s. I need not have worried,Rael and the group were so welcoming and supportive I soon felt at home. Everyone goes at their own pace, every week is different and the only person pushing me is me. The routines are different every week. Attending these sessions has certainly improved my fitness, I climbed Ben Nevis this month and where as I could only do one Mountain Climber when I started, I managed 50 last week. 😁
